Southern Bred Fitness is a holistic approach that demands complete transparency. Although my coaching is influenced by the southern culture, it is highly effective in its implementation. With my military background, we have established an environment that emphasizes the importance of acknowledging obstacles and facing life with preparedness.

Prime for the Session
Foam Rolling
Rolling is a great way to increase the body temperature during the warmup and also an efficient tool for speeding up recovery time. Lactic acid builds up after an intense workout, so rolling helps release poly and get blood flowing to certain areas.

Activate

Mobility
Mobility targets the joints and muscles through dynamic stretching as appose to static stretches that prompts the athlete to hold a position for a period of time. Dynamic means moving fluently through the range of motion.

Potentiate
This phase is the bridge between the warmup and the actual workout. I recognize this phase as warmup sets with resistance bands during push/pull sessions or forward/lateral skips on lower body session.
